Tank---—8an—---Sump—---8an---—Ball Valve——8an------Baldwin FB1311 base with Baldwin BF1212 water separator——8an------Baldwin FB1311 base with CAT 1R-0749 (BIG dfuel filter)—8an--—A1000 marine——8an———Engine bay——8an——FP Regulator——8an—--Y--KW-Y62=====6an=======Front of heads with 6AN to 12x1.5mm 90°

Back of heads===6an====Y=KW-Y62——Regulator—Do I need a return to tank line???

I will use fittings instead of banjo bolts and use stainless braided line in the engine bay and rubber line under the truck.

Does this sound like a bullet proof fuel system? I think it will be much cheeper then purchasing a regulated return kit.

The return from the regulator needs to go to the tank. Where else is it gonna go if you're doing it that way? if you're keeping the HFCM, it needs to go through that.

I would think you would want to place the pump in between the filters.
At least thats the way I have mine set-up. That way the pump isnt trying to suck through a 2 micron filter.

->Water Seperator -> Pump -> Filter

You will want to run larger than a -8 on the suction side. -12 is recommended. My filter bases have -10ORB inlets and outlets. I would run the smaller 1R-0750 filter and the 175-2949 seperator. I believe the A1000 has -10 inlet and outlet also.

I'm going sump, -10, water separator, pump, filter, -8, y split to -6, -6 to front of heads, -6 out the back to regulator, -6 back to the factory sender.

So help me understand why your keeping the factory sender?

The rest of yours is the same as mine above....I updated it.

Or you could drill the lid and put a bulkhead fitting

I think i will do this.

So just to make sure this looks good to y'all?

Yes, i run mine 55-60 psi.
Its a debate on if that setup is overkill or not some say the stock setup will keep up with those injectors some say they wont.
Im running the same exact setup youve listed besides i run a fuelab 41402 pump and i still have stock injectors so i think you can tell which side of the argument i fall on.
