That 5R has a few tricks up it's sleeve. holding the power will not be a problem. Shifting fast enough? well, PCS and a few months of heavy testing should do the trick.

I'm stoked to see how that package works together...

I love seeing new things! Sounds like a monster!

I think Mikey has the best setup by far. If it stays together it will be very hard to beat.

high doubtful considering the factory tcm has more control over the 5r110 than the pcs can begin to think about....ever wonder why when people do cummins swaps they dont use the 5r they switch to the 4r

It's part of the tricks Craig. Goes along with the gold plateing process. Lol. Jk guys

Tadd and I actually talked about that and he was saying.that hopefully simplifying the control on the 5r would actually make things better... I.don't.know how it will work but I'm curious for results.

Is it worth it if we know the 4R is working already? Not bashing just curious.

Wouldn't require getting a 4r core and nno need to have the input on the transfercase swapped out. As well as alot of us have already spent a decent amount of Money on our 5rs to.just give up.

Good question, but they aren't sure if it will work. If it doesn't the 4r is there.

Hell if I could get 5500 for my 5r with the converter and no core id be goin 4r all day and lose my ass on the 5r

Billet everything and extra clutch compactly with a converter...as built as a 5r can be...hey someone that's Gettin into the dpc...I have a great back up trans for you

I'm pretty sure I already said it, but I already have a John wood 4R waiting in the wings. If this one let's go I'm not gonna dik with it. I just really hate losing the shift selector. It's kinda cheesy IMO. Either way I will handle what needs to be handled.

5r has already been past the 9 second mark. Gracefully? Maybe not, but it's been there. If we can make the pcs do what we plan, then it's a step forward. If the pcs doesn't work out in time, then it's still a great tranny. If we're not happy with the 5r, and time is short, then on to plan b as outlined by bigr
