Did I miss where he said hes rock crawling with his diesel pickup? Lol have you ever seen a jeep with 24s? Yeah, that's why you dont see any because it looks dumb. I have seen trucks with 38s+ and 24s and it looks great. Hell 24.5 on duallys look great.

I don't know the exact tire size, but somewhere around 50" tall and 22" wide, depending on air.

I didn't say anything about a Jeep to whoever the guy is up there with the green truck. This thread isn't about jeeps. There was some motocross kid on that other site who did an 8" lift on a sicks liter and 38/24 rolling stock. Looked good to me. I like the more direct feel I get with my 20s&35s as compared to my old combo of 16s&37s.

I found one advantage when I had my 24s was that I didnt have to remove my wheel to replace brake pars....its very convenient lik. I have 22's now and if I coukd get toyos for a 24 i woukd have them again.

Haha, NICE truck Charles. It's definitely not a "low profile" tire either though. I did forget about "tractor" tires and the like. Touché good sir. How the tire looks is just an opinion and my opinion is flashy big wheels like 24's on Jeeps, Caprices and Full Size trucks or pretty much any other car look stupid to me 99% of the time. Trucks like Charles's being an exception. Come to think of it, I know of a few truck that have to have 30"+ rims on them and big ol tractor tires that I really like.
Back to the real issue....what's functional...I think they all are, just depends on what you are doing. Bigger rims might work better on the road and towing, smaller rims and more balloon like tires might work better where flotation is a plus, like sand, DEEP snow and some mud. It depends on the tread, air pressure, weight, etc. most will do all of it and excel in certain areas. I wasn't trying to get in a pissing match, but an opinion was asked for, so I replied. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

Yeah, I don't think I will have a problem staying clear of them.
I know on jeeps the hard core guys have found that to go to something like a 20" rim and keep the benefits takes a 40" tire 38 on the low side. I think 20s with 40s looks great.
What I do not get more than the thin sidewall stuff with off road tires is when you add to that going with wider rims than the damn tires. IMO it looks weird and negates all the benefits and purpose the tires were suppose to have. The look is defiantly not for me. But hey whatever floats your boat I guess.:shrug:

Nope. Love the tire pictured but not stretched like taffy.
That is the same size tire Im about to put on my 10.5" wheel. Thats gotta be a 14.

I don't like that stretched look either. A lot of them around here, the ones I posted are kind of mild. Now the later one, LMAO How the *** does it hold air?
