I think I ran both injectors with the gtx and 250's just on the 468. Wastegated on the gtx with the tightest exhaust housing, can't remember what ar though. Now on the 68 I'm unwastegated and have no idea what housing, what ever full force sent me. Iirc spools 200-250 Rpms sooner than gtx

What kinds of turbos would work well with a set of 300/200. I am looking for something that spools fairly quickly and will help clear up those injectors. A good daily driver. I have thought about the s468 but what other ones are there

With 300/200 you can not go wrong with the 468. Dynoproven has reported back to us mid 600's on fuel and 800's with spray. It is a very good match.

I know s468 are great turbos but is there a bigger turbo that will still give me the same quick spool and still flow more air

Doubtful as that is the price you pay when you go to larger wheels to move more air. I do think the gtx4294 moves more air up top and lites quicker but it was not cheap. V-ref did a decent amount of logging both turbos running heavily messaged 200% from Nate so he has direct experience in both with that combo.

Has anyone tried a precision turbo. I know they are mostly car turbos but some can be used on diesels

They do make standard journal bearing turbos for around 1500. You don't have to buy the 4000 ceramic coated turbo

I also know of at least 2 accounts of a precision turbo exploding under less that extreme use in low hours. Not saying that they may not have been flukes but they were both 7.3 not that means anything in and of itself. But I do know after talking to garrett techs they are required to hold to what amounts to oem standard for duty life and hard use. They said they could get a good deal more performance from compressor wheels and what not if they did not have to be as durable. One specific area was in turning down the center area of the well to get more blade surface area but the issue was if you go thinner durability suffers. I know a fair bit about turbos tech but I am far from an expert so I am only regurgitating what they told me. I will say with what I do know it does make sense.

Not to mention when you look at the way people beat on 38r driving they over pressure and egts on a constant basis the track record is quite good. Everything will fail and has but overall there BB turbos sure seem to hold up to abuse.

For everyone who has run a s468, what injectors and exhaust housings have you run, and were you wastegated?

I currently run a s468 1.10 housing non gated with 238/200's

I've ran my 468 with 200/80s and 400/200s, non gated with a 1.10 housing. It spools great, I do want to try a 1.0 housing though.

350/200's, 400/200's, 465/200's

Can you flow that much to empty those injectors with 200% nozzles?

Even if they can, can a s468 or GTX4294r clean up larger then a 300/200 without spray?

Just want to point out that I was always taught you always want to have a more capacity as than you can use. You do not want to bottom out the plunger ie empty the injector. More fuel capacity I do not see as a bad thing its whats called for that matters so too little is an issue but to much...not sure how that hurts anything.

As I eventually planned to go up to 400% when I got the build done and compounds I saw no reason not to get the full fuel capacity I could get right from the start even though 200% will never come close to using it.

That's what I assumed, just a nozzle swap away.
