My truck went completly nuts like this when i was driving down the road! In my case it ended up being the alternator.

Clearance is good- using dei spark plug heat shields rated up to 2000.

with fuel constantly moving through the lines and fittings,it will always pull heat out of the fittings and hose. kinda like a heat sink. ask me how i know
