So what is the final consenouis? Switch to Race tune and race lock when I start my 240 mile trip to the track? Or just switch when I get there?

Launch 4x4 high at 16-1800rpm with 30 psi in the tires?

Doesn't seem to be much input on ET's other than low 13s

Load the tune when you get to the track if you don't want to drive it all the way there. Start at 1700 rpm. If the truck spins or hops, back off. If not, push it if you think you can go a little quicker. 30psi in the tires is fine. Low 13's maybe a high 12 if you launch it hard.

You should post up pics of your truck also! It looks like a twin to mine when I first got it!

my green truck has never been out of x race or race lock. no other way to drive.

How safe is this xrace and race lock on a stock trans and no studs? Anything to watch for? How many miles are you guys seeing before the trans learns?
A new motor and trans are not in the budget if they break.
