Just wondering what you guys suggest I do for a dual pump kit,

I have 3 options that I know of
Warren
Elite dyi kit
Build my own

Really want to build my own for the simple fact of saving money
Although i do have a spare 03-04 style pump to fit the elite kit

Any other options? Compaines? Or someone want to work with me to build this

I have pretty much a complete parts list to build the same thing as warren but heard his kit keeps seizing pumps, not cool, I know of a way to remove the side load factor if that's what's causing the problems

I'll be running 240-285 conventionals

Well i have a Warren Diesel Twin Pump kit with 285/75s and love it. I can hold 4.7v at 2.4 - 2.6ms at WOT and does not drop one bit.

It would definitely be cheaper to build your own but I love how simple it was to just bolt on everything and know it would work. Also it is hard to beat the customer service from Warren Diesel

The only pumps from warren that I heard about seizing was because the pumps were not primed correctly and/or the owner added other parts to the kit that were sucking air. I followed their directions to prime the kit and it worked fantastic. The only issue I had (which was my own fault) was that I rushed him on shipping so he did not have the cold side charge pipe and ended up having to fab my own pipe and it kept rubbing the pulley.

Hope that helps a little

My vote goes to warren his kits are very nice and a breeze to install just fellow his directions on priming it and you'll be fine. I'm running his pump with my 430 and holding icp just fine.

Collecting unfiltered oil from the lowest point in the pan and sending it directly into your hp oil system...seems like a good idea right?

If you use another factory HPOP, and your truck is 05+, you are going to run the risk of defaulting ICP if your injectors aren't huge.

That's good, when did he update it?

was talking to a buddy over the weekend, from what I hear, the pump has been updated, the check valves, and the filter has been added. Long as the pump is primed correctly, kit sounds to be a lot better then the original version. Again just from what I have heard.

I've got some pic of the new set-up I'll check with jesse first before I post them up I don't want to step on anyones toes. But for what he's told me and I've seen looks like a really sweet set-up.
