So the jackshaft support setup was the solution from seals blowing?

Lmao Josh

You know you are thinking the same thing.... lmao

I'm not sure if that's actually Jesse's pipe for his kit or if Charlie made it for his truck.

Whoever made it.... well, they might just be special. I sure hope they are planning on changing that. Sorry, but still not a fan of this kit. Something about having it feed from the oil pan drain plug hole just screams "ratchet" to me. I get it, if it works, it works, but come on why does it have to be so "thrown together" looking.

I know the guy running that kit and he had to quickly ghetto fab up a hot side charge pipe. He is not running a non vgt turbo setup so it did not mount up right. He was pretty embarrassed to post of those pictures and I am sure the has changed that setup by now. I can tell you the guy running that kit was SUPER impressed on really brought his truck to life.

That is also not a picture of the latest design for the bracket from warren.

Holy hell that hot side pipe looks like a bag of smashed a$$holes LOL

YES, I HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU, BUT ITS ALL I HAD TO WORK WITH THAT DAY AT THAT TIME,:fustrate:, I JUST POSTED THE PIX UP THAT DAY TO GIVE THE GUYS AN IDEA OF WHERE THE PUMP WAS MOUNTED,ECT. YA KNOW JUS HAD TO SLAP SOMTHING TOGETHER VERY QWIK LIKE SO I COULD TRY IT OUT RIGHT THEN.LOL.I HAD TO RIG SOMETHING UP BECAUSE THE WAY MY TURBO IS SET UP ON THE TRUCK, THE PIPE HE SENT WOULDN WORK. YES IT LOOKED LIKE T TOTAL $HIT, BUT IT DIDNT STAY LIKE IT LONG. ITS HAS SINCE BEEN A VERY NICE PIPE MADE UP FOR IT, WHEN I GET SOME TIME ILL POST SOME PICS UP HEAR FOR YOU GUYS TO SEE, THE PUMP HOLDS FULL ICP WITH 275/100S & MADE A HUGE DIFFRENCE IN POWER IN THE UPPER RPM RANGE, MY TRUCK DOSENT FALL ON ITS FACE LIKE IT USE TO.

IN THOSE PIX THE WHOLE ENGINE BAY LOOKS LIKE $HIT

ILL GET SOME NEW PICTURES UP HEAR WHEN I GET A CHANCE

IM RUNNING A SMALL FRAME 71MM BILLET BORG WARNER CHARGER

ILL BE AT RUDYS MARCH 15TH FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO SEE IT IN PERSON & WILL RUN ANY 6.0 THATS DRIVEN THERE! LOL

Warren has a newer version than that. It uses a different pump. I will let someone from warren post the details.

For this style of pump it was important to eliminate side loads on the shaft. Anyone that deals with hydraulics will know why the shaft has to float. Having the pulley on its own support was the only way to give it longevity.

Pulling the oil from the pan has its merit since it doesn't compete for oil in other locations such as the oil distribution block. The oil distribution block could work very well (filtered and pressurized), but you would need to test for enough flow at that point to not outdraw the normal circuits.

If anyone has had the pan off, you would find it would be difficult to weld a bung to it due to the design. However, a bite fitting would work, but not many people would want to install a second hole in the pan.

Charlie, don't sweat the haters, your hot pipe frankenstein worked just fine as an interim solution!

Charlie, care to post some pics of the new setup? I'm sure it looks much better. Don't take my comment as "hate" I was just being brutally honest lol. Can't hate on a good running 6.0!

I thought I would post some pics up for Charlie... the pics before were while he was test fitting everything and were not finished product pics...

This is a better representation of how bad ASS his truck looks. I think he is getting pretty close to being finished!

Looks much better, anymore info on what kind of pump one would use if they wanted to do their own dual pump setup.
