Man I like the loom of 6" and 37's. I need some 37 12.5 16, but they are hard to find. The lift I'm not worried about I can build that, but the tires I bet that is a chunk of change

There is nothing more evil looking than a lifted dually! Look in the rear view and it seems like all you see is a lane full of tire! Makes me regret trading my 04 in on a 2wd.

Good looking trucks!

Absolutely! 4 cost enough. I think that's why I traded my 04 when I did. It was due a set of tires. I just wish stock front tires lasted longer on a dually.

I'm eating up my tires quick, that's why I wanna lift it, I'm hoping huge tire bill plus heavy tire setup will tame my right foot a little

The shop dually is lifted and it crossed the scales at the scrap yard at 25k+ many times, granted we modified the gooseneck so it will hook up, but it tows plenty

My 04 wasn't a dually, but was lifted. It became very impractical when I had two kids in carseats. Climbing in the back with a baby carrier got old real quick. Plus my youngest would never nap while riding because the truck rode so rough. I miss that truck every day, but the better ride of a 2wd and the increase in mpg made it worth the trade. Plus towing is so much easier than it was with my 04.

Wait, is that a GM, with a caddy conversion, and Dodge tow mirrors??

And a 12v cummins, nv4500, divorced atlas 2 transfercase, straight axle swap, and the intercooler is out of a 7.3 sd

Those were 285/70/19.5 Toyo M608Z tires. If that came in a narrower size I would still be running them but I burned through them in less then 30,000 miles, wish I could have found some one who could have widened my wheels. Thats why I had to go American Force 22.5's

I'm thinking about 19.5's wrapped with a 265. Your biggest problem was getting the tire to wear flat I'm assuming?

Thanks captain obvious. I wasn't aware of it. Good thing you pointed it out for me. That was a close one, phew.

They're both coming out anyways when I reinstall the stock F450 rear fuel tank.
