I had an autometer pyrometer but switched to stewart warner gauges when I got my 4 pod pillar.
the probe is mounted on the downpipe right before it bends to go under the firewall.
the autometer gauge always read about 800* (give or take) on the highway turning about 2000-2200 rpm.
but now my stewart warner gauge is reading about 600* in the same rpm range.
which one is more accurate?
Truck has stock turbo with a wicked wheel, baby swamps injectors, regulated return (regulated at 65 psi), 6637 intake, 3"downpipe to 6" stacks,
chip was on highway econ setting in both instances.
thanks in advance
