I run that truck all the time on the highway. Temps are great. Never gets hot.

I just wired mine up like the instructions but ran the ac wire to a switch.

Only compliant I would have is that min will run for a bit after you shut the truck off but not long.

I don't know what wire but I could look at my wireing diagrams and get back to you. Might take me a few hrs to track it down haha

Mine will do the same, but not all the time. I guess it kinda depends on where the fans are set to kick on with their timing cycle...sometimes when i shut off they'll kick on and run for like maybe 5 seconds and sometimes they wont.

Yea I am totally doing the Flexalite kit over the Derale Fans i showed in the link. I just like how clean of an install it looks like and is proven to work. I would rather not reinvent the wheel if I can help it. I really like how clean it looks on your truck Chris and how much room there is between the fan and the motor.

no...you will not gain any performance by going with electric fans. The reason i did it is to gain more room under the hood. No one should expect any performance gains by doing this.

I have run a single 18" Mark IV electric fan, and the dual 15" Flex-A-Lite set-up.
I like the dual set up because with the aluminum shroud housing, they are pulling air across the entire core of the rad, and not just in the small shroud of the 18" fan.

I love the amount of room any electric fan gives ya in the engine compartment.
Like the way I can turn them off for faster warm ups.

Only PITA was mounting them up for proper seal around the rad core.

My fan clutch is going out I think. its coming on now way more than it used too. almost every time I stop it comes on in the city...it has never done that the past two summers, and its not even a hot one. $450 for a new fan clutch...I may do the dual fans to clear up some space
