Colt Cams makes a really good cam that you can use stock pistons with. (No machining.)

If you go with new 0.020" over Mahle pistons, gapless ring set, machined valve notches, coated tops and a stage 2 cam...pending where you buy from...those parts alone will push you over $1500.00-$2500.00

It gets expensive really quick...

Yes sir! I was planning for 5k at the least for the build. I have to wait until summer when I'm working offshore! For now I'm saving for compounds. I have got 2k for the compounds, I'm just trying to get ahold of the rest!
