Always an interesting topic when this comes up. Just a thought on some of the high hp trucks that that have been mentioned which ran a cryo'd flexplate, majority were lighter weight sclb trucks. My experience with a brand new cryo'd flexplate, was failure before 20,000 miles, at 588hp on an 8200 lb ccsb dd.

Billet has been in for 10k, with no issues. Carson Stauffer had made it, don't know if he still is producing them.

If he's not he's going to be soon because I'm going to want one with my build :D

I reused the stock 220,000 mile flex plate on my big motor build. Cryo treated it and bolted it on.

did you get your girlfriend to hold the broken piece for you? looks like chic hands..
seen a few just like that and still started... dentexpowerstroke just had his out with the same problem. still started and ran..

Mine looked just like that, but the center piece was round. Busted the last little corner holding it together when I matted the pedal at 65MPH. I thought I had blown my motor up.
