OK lets back up a min.... I need a no bs answer " if someone is running this set up please pm me " Im getting a mixed answers can I run my Airdog 2 as my regulated return in my fuel system and delete my fuel bowl ?
My bro ran it without a regulator for a while and it worked fine. Not the best setup but it still works fine.
The air dog regulator does not eliminate the dead head design of the 6.0 fuel system, as it only feeds the injectors through the front banjos, and still dead ends in the rear of the head. Therefore it only regulates psi drop attnt of the heads, not the furthest point from the pump where it will drop psi first (your back two injectors). The regulated return makes it so that your fuel pump is constantly flowing fuel through the head and now is regulated after the heads which keeps 100% even psi on all 8.
Rear crossover does not do anything about dead heading.DD. im also running a rear crossover line so the fluid isnt dead heading in the back of the cylinder. And you are removing the spring from the fuel bowl or the Ad ?
Yes- with a gauge at the test port at the bowl and a gauge on the aeromotive test port after the heads. Guess which drops first?
Got them in stock ready to ship.
