Installed mine this morning at work. Built the bracket yesterday but since my truck in a supercab dually I didn't have room between the tank and the lift pump. Had to put mine on the outside of the feamrail. Used the mounting studs for the factory lift pump to mount my filter. No leaks. The local Napa didn't have the hose that you suggested but had another hose that was higher psi rated and he said it was biodiesel compatible.
