Fuel Line came off at filter while driving

I noticed that jwalk09 had a zip tie on the green fuel line.

Other day wife was on her way to work and the fuel line came off at the filter creating a huge mess and dumping the remaining fuel in the tank. Anyone else have this issue? The clip was in the open position. I have put close to 5k on it since I change the filters. If I had forgot to secure the clip I am sure it would have come loose sooner. Seems like it blew the line off. Filled the truck up and primed the system and all is well now. Just wondering if this is an issue?

That happens when whoever change the filter last didnt get it clipped on all the way, or forgot to lock it. Seen it from our lube rack a couple times :morons:

Yep I've done it before, I went about the same amount of miles.

Yeah it happens if you don't fully lock it. Nothing to do with our filter setup.
