What size garret is comparable in size to a s472?

A turbo without the "r" is a journal bearing, a gtr has ball bearing, gtx is ball bearing with the billet 11 blade wheel. Im a fan of garrett turbos. Bought a gt4718 for my atmo. Look on garretts site, its all on there for sizing, exhaust housing sizes.

I would love to see a GTX4294R or a GTX4202R on a 6.4.. I love my GTX4294R
I know it's not Apples to Apple's mine is on a 7.3..

The gtx is the wheel
The r is ball bearing

Ball bearing Garrett will spool faster than an equally sized journal bearing Borg. Love my GTX charger.

We ran a 4508 on king Kong. Didn't like it at all. Survived 96 lbs of boost though lol

Lol! Jesus. Most my 4508 sees is 55psi.

If go with 60% nozzles. 100% nozzles choke my charger out on a big pw file.

Hard to beat s400 chargers for the price, but I would like to see more people try Garretts as singles.

I wish i could go back in time and run the tuning that im using now, a ball bearing charger and see how things would have gone, i know up here the PTE 76mm ball bearing i had was a turd, but once it lit holy cow (on basically stock fuel) and crappy box tuning (mind you this was 3.5 years ago) I was always a little unsure of how good the gt42 based turbine wheel was compared to the gt45 like colton is running.

That being said i would love to try a gtx4202r again, i think it would work good for a solid 800 hp. I mean david lott made over 800 with a 7.3 LOL should be easy for a 6.4 to do haha J/K
