Just joined powerstroke army, so here are my numbers. Stock I got 12-13 city, 15-16 with city/highway mixed, 17-19 straight highway. Now I get 15-16 city, 18-19 city/highway mixed and 20-22 straight highway. Towing is about 10-12 mpg no matter what, I always seem to have a headwind when towing... This was on stock 275/70r18 Goodyear Duratracs. Just had 325/65r18 Goodyear Duratracs installed so I have to wait and see what I get now.

There is no way you are averaging 38.6 with 173 miles til empty on a half a tank, unless you have an 8 gallon tank.

Nice try though.

It would have to be way lower than a quarter to add up. Your gauge must not work right. Better stop for fuel. You only have four gallons left. I know the 6.4 was a b!!tch if you ran it out of fuel. I'm sure the 6.7 is just as bad. :poke:

the fuel gauge needel could also be off some, i know my truck being tuned that some days when i start it even knowing i have a full take it will tell me i have a 1/2 or less.

this could be the same situtation cause of the tuner.

Ummmm I believe small fuel tank... Very economical.. I had the cruise set on 74 yesterday from Ocala, Florida to Lexington Ky and got 9.8, up to 10.6 for my last tank... 72 cruise from Lexington,Ky to Erie, Pa. (Some changes for the cities with no cruise averaged 10.5 up to 11.4. All with 4 horses then 5 horses from Lexington. With my cousins heavy Head to Head.

Yep. It's jumbled up a bit, but the lower MPG number is hand calc versus the higher one that is the trip computer. I reset it at each fill-up

I reset the factory gauge yesterday evening for about a 35 mile highway trip. Speed stayed between 70-75 mph (3.55 gears) and when I pulled off the highway, the gauge said 20.8. Bone stock truck.

I'm right around 15mpg around town and have seen 19mpg highway at 68mph. Lifetime for truck says 14.8 mixed driving (towing/highway/city) which I don't think is too bad for a 10,000lb truck. Towing my landscape trailer it said 12.0-12.5 with tow/haul on which I still don't think is bad. Truck has the 3.55 gears.

100* here today and windy...with 500 miles on the truck, my lie o meter said my 100 mile trip averaged 17.3 @ mostly 65-75 mph. Meter was close to hand calc at my first fill up.Thats a nice change in fuel mileage from my pos 6.0, it at best was 10-11 at that speed.

Got about 1000 miles on mine now. Mixed driving is right at 16-17mpg, highway at 65mph with a/c (vent and seats!!) on I've seen the meter at 19mpg. Towing my 6x10 enclosed trailer with landscaping equipment around town its between 12-14mpg (stop and go, 50mph max speed road.) I absolutely love the truck!
