Gas Mileage...Post'm up

I just got back from my long road trip from Northern VA to Atlanta GA to Charleston SC and back to Northern VA.

It was mainly highway driving with occasional city driving.
the idiot gauge said 20.2
hand calc with amount i put in the truck said 19.8

i literally set the cruise control at 70 and sat back and watched movies the entire time. I only hit the brakes when i had to to slow down. Truck is a 2013 with stock wheels and tires pumped up to 80psi and 3.55 gears if i am correct. Has about 3500 miles on it now. Prob do her first oil change this weekend.

yeah I've seen this video...id honestly only believe it after you hand calculate it tho. would be pretty sweet tho if the trucks could do that.

I would love too get anywhere close too these mpg numbers lol im getting 11-12 around town and 15-16 on hwy with a strong tail wind going down hill ! I have a 08 6.4 with 7 inch lift on 37/13.50 toyo mt runing gear heads street tune

I get the same no matter if I'm in town or cruising down the highway. All hand calculated. 10mpg

yeah, mine get 13-15, just depends if I am in the city or on the highway, what a bummer. I am debating pulling off my lift and wheels/tires and seeing what it does for a few weeks.

When I went to pick up my wheels from Jared I got 21mpg on the way up there with a tail wind running 67mph the whole way. Then it went back down on the way back. For the rest of the tank the dash said avg of 19.2 when I had to refill and hand calc it was 18.6, still not bad for an 8500lb brick

My 13 has an H&S Mini Maxx w/ DPF delete, S&B CAI and 5" Flo Pro exhaust. This past weekends trip was a little over 1000 miles and I averaged 19.2. Most of the trip was on interstate with the cruise set at 75 mph.
