So I dropped these things off yesterday. It's gonna be a bit longer then planned to complete. After the guy looked at the factory stitching he was skeptical as to whether he could take apart and reuse the factory leather and vinyl without some of the old holes from stitching showing. I had them order new leather and vinyl straight from Ford to match the factory Platinum leather vs using something that was just "close"
Looks like 2 weeks or less with the wait time....and a few more bucks but I'm ok with that to not see any left over stitch holes.

Update in case anyone is wondering what happened.
I checked in on the work being done and they had one complete...it was nowhere near what I wanted done. The foam for the outer headrests was shaped completely different than the center....they were almost square and the completed one was hideous compared to the center. What they did complete correctly was getting the metal framework shortened to match the height of the center.
So....I ordered two center headrests with the covers from Sunrise Ford. I plan to salvage the foam from those, install the framework and cover with OEM covers. Cost me $342 bucks but the end result will be much better than the fiasco the upholstery shop came up with.

You have to order the foam/frame as one piece then the covers separately. Took some hunting but Sunrise took care of it quickly. I couldn't sleep at night if the headrests weren't all shaped the same so I came up with a plan b.

Hmmm your thread got me thinking. I need to figure out something to have done to my upholstery. Good excuse to go see the chick we use at our body shop. Let's just say that when she shows up at our shop, all work comes to an immediate halt, especially when she's in her shorts LOL

Pics or it didn't happen
