My father had them on his 6.4. He was not impressed with the snow traction. He also only got 24k out of them. They were a 285 load range E

Agreed. I ran the factory Goodyear 275/65 tires on the 20" Harley wheels on my 2010 truck. Those tires sucked in an condition that wasn't dry pavement. Terrible in the snow and even felt iffy on wet roads. Didn't seem to have much tread life either, I had them on the truck for about 20,000, doubt they had another 5-8,000 left in them.

Interesting how most people love them and there are a few that hate them.. I wonder if the factory tires are of a different quality..

factory tires ARE NOT SILENT ARMOURS they are wrangler at/s. they have a similar tread pattern. most people arent happy with the wranglers but few ppl complain about silent armours.

I thought the two guys that didn't like them got armors with new trucks.. My mistake.. Ya, I know the ATS was a factory tire as I said in an earlier post..

The factory Wranglers are ATS's I believe.. The Silent Armors are basically an ATS with Kevlar in the sidewalls..

You would never know the differance..

Awesome. I'm almost 100% sure we will be going with this tire on my dad's truck. I think a 305/60/20 will work perfectly with the factory wheels at stock height. It's just a hair beefier than the factory 275/65/20.
