Curious if a ceramic clear coat would work? Like Opti-Coat or something similar?

I see they have them without the upper portion blacked out. How were the lights sealed? I didn't know if they were sealed pretty good or not very much. I may try a set out so I don't have to pull my stocks apart. Either way I'd definitely seal them up more before installing them!

It's butyl just like from the factory.

Has anyone used urathane to seal these? My family owns a glass shop and that's what they seal windshields with, it doesn't take much, it's some bad sh*t

I've heard urethane "off-gasses" and then you've got no way to get inside in case something goes wrong.

The big problem with aftermarket headlights imo is the clear coat over the lens doesn't hold up like oem, especially after you bake them open. sh*t will start to peel off. Had it happen to a set of mine and I only use oem now bc of it

What I've got seems like it's just plastic. Didn't know there was clear coat on it. It seems to me that they're almost an identical rip off of the factory light.

They have a uv protection film or spray over them. They can be refinished if it does happen though. I would think putting a 3m clear film over top would prevent any problems.

Also a good option if you want to send your lights out to get done but need your truck as a daily driver.

That's what I had intended them for but when i got them and realized I wouldn't have to paint the inside frame, I just decided to retro them instead.

Things are going well but slow. I got the headlight buckets loose yesterday and trimmed the bulb mounting hole and got the projectors mounted. Next step is to get them aimed and then wiring of the Halo's etc.

I am running the same lights but off eBay and with a clear reflector instead of Amber. They adjusted great and fit great! No complaints here!

Mine were bent also, how did you adjust yours?
