Well the suicide doors are happening, the top will be dependent on how the renderings turn out....

I am hoping that these renderings will be able to accurately take whats in my head and give it some life

How do u plan on doing the chop?
Lay the windshield back or patching in the center cross of the roof. Not sure how clear that is but one way you will need a spare cab and have the windshield cut, the other way you shouldn't need those things but it changes lines and takes away from cab room and visibility

I tend to agree with you Jason, we'll see what happens when the renderings are done.

Paper is cheap.
The final product will be whatever looks proportional and correct to me.

I bought my frame clip for 150 I am probably going to end up buying drop spindles for it anyways.

Lowering a truck is the same as anything else, the cheapest and simplest answers are almost never the correct ones.

I like it, but don't know if its worth the effort for 2".

A lot of people mention it not being worth the effort. Half the reason that I want to do it is to say that I did it.

I am building this truck to hone and showcase my fabrication skills, so time and effort is irrelevant.

If the point of the truck is to show what you can do then I say go for it. I think it looks good, but I also think the black f150 looks good with the standard top. I think it would be sick to have the chop just to make the truck even more one of a kind.

Well there you go, it sounds like its well worth the effort to you. If you were closer I would offer to lend a hand because I favor these builds over the big money builds. Thats probably because I don't have any disposable income though.

The grille needs just a little more "shiny" somewhere to balance the chrome lip on the rims. And i think, imho, the rear wheels should have a bigger lip than the front, staggered. Just purely from an aesthetic stand point.

On the grille, for instance, if where it has the riveted look if instead of rivets it was just a chrome ring around that part picturing it in my head that be a good accent to the lip on the rims

I like the chopped top though.
