Edit: if you cant scrape up 6 grand for a set of heads and a shortblock from ford, you need an s10 or prius.

Here's a shocker.... Sell it!! Or better yet, do a Cummins swap. Oh wait, you've been bitching about the 6.4 since the day you got it and supposedly where going to swap a 6.7 Cummins, but haven't. You keep bitching about the Powerstroke but do NOTHING otherwise. Again, broken freaking record.$6K might cover a LONGBLOCK, but it doesn't touch the new injectors, turbo, HPFP, glow plugs, ****** kit and gasket set needed to build a decently bulletproof engine. Nor the labor to do it.
If you knew anything about diesel engines you'd understand how stupid your recommendation to rebuild an engine with 200K is. I've got a skid steer with higher hours than my truck and we haven't touched the engine in it and it works one h3ll of a lot harder than the engine in my truck. And the oil change interval on it is 250 hours.
Why Ford can't put a decent diesel in their trucks is beyond me.
