420,000 miles is amazing, how the overall condition of the rest of the truck, mine has 235,000 and I am noticing quite a few items needing attention, body mounts, steering wheel, plastic on the sides of the seats...

What do people do to vehicles that you need to replace all kinds of things on the inside? My 2002 f150 has the most miles out of all my vehicles at 230,000+ and all it needs is the new leather for the bottom part of the drivers seat because it has a two inch cut in the leather and I'm not even sure from what but I'll go ahead and replace the cushion while I'm there. Other than that there isn't even a rattle in it.

Just rolled over 42,000 in my 6.4 though.

Finally got to 142k.... Lol. Pretty nice not having to change oil once a month. But I do need to do head gaskets. Really trying to hold out Lil while and do bunch of other upgrades while it's apart.

162600 stock headgaskets, i changed the rocker arms at 155 because the cab was up to do the single turbo. They all looked perfect except two and those weren't too bad.

It's the 6.4 itself. People don't have to do anything to them and they still self destruct.

Yup. I've seen some with very low miles and multiple engines, and some with high miles original engine. Both with religious maintenance. Dele ted and completely stock.

Bought four months ago with 96K, now has 101K. All stock except for D P F del ete and K&N air filter. Runs great, no issues. Will probably make some more power in the future, but 350 hp is enough for the time being.

225K here. technically mine's running engine #4. previous owner ran dirty fuel, rode it hard, and put it away wet. ended up burning a hole in a piston at 110K, then again at 160K, same thing. Both times due to lack of maintenance and bad fuel. It had a low miles studded factory reman (engine #3) when I bought it a couple years ago. A friend was trading in his truck with a fancy motor I built, so I swapped them before the trade in. The truck has had a tough life, but it now has a low miles motor with everything but rods, as well as a full billet transmission.
