How many of you had a 7.3 then went to 6.0

I own a early 99 7.3 6 speed. Been thinking about getting rid of it for a bullitt proofed 6.0. Just getting some opinions of what y'all think, , I don't get in to all that blowing smoke and all the high performance stuff. All I know is I've owned my truck for 12 years and only done regular maintenance to it and I'm hesitant to get something else to start a new relationship with. It's kinda scary really. I'm looking 05 lariat supposedly has already been bullitt proofed and receipts etc.

Any of y'all wish you just keep your old 7.3?

I grew up with 7.3s, drove them through HS and around for work and whatnot. The first diesel I bought on my own was a F350 6.0 bone stock. I bulletproofed it and loved it! Pulls good, sounds good, good mpg, and the interior of the Super duty was a lot better than the OBS I thought. I drove a 93 F150 for a long time, and while nice enough, the SD was an upgrade for sure.

Then I went to a 6.4 and love it that much more over the 6.0!
