How to make 7.3 exhaust loud as possible

Reminds me of Dustin and I's headers except we didn't have to remove them, they vented to atmosphere all on their own lol

oh gawd...

I had an uppipe bolts break on my white truck in texas, i pulled it into the shop and that sound brought back old memories, then i grabbed the door handle on my shelving to grab some rags, the handles are my old headers, figured i would use them for something LOL

Make sure you get the stackable muffler bearings though for your stackable stacks

Also if you adjust your tow mirrors right you can deflect the exhaust noise into the cab.

Haha i see everyone is in a playful mood tonight LOL. Look for soot around your up pipes if anything is leaking you should be able to find it relatively easily.

No not it at all. In case you have noticed engine noise and exhaust noise sound completely different. Id like to be able to hear my exhaust in the cab not have to be outside the truck to hear it. I was looking for opinions but i guess i just got smart ass remarks.

If you wanna hear your exhaust real well you should have a buddy drive your truck and then you sit in the bed and hang over the side and aim your ear hole at the exhaust tip :thumbsup:

If you want exhaust noise in the cab, run a short stack. Just don't plan on opening the rear sliding window.

If you just want loud and annoying exhaust: 3.5" downpipe, 4" straight pipe, 4"-6" tip dumping out the side in front of the rear tire. My truck could be heard literally a mile away with that setup. You will get tired of cleaning the back tire. You will get tired of the noise in the cab.
