I've heard big stickers make your truck very noisy
Make sure they are a giant 'C'. That makes it very noisy!

No not it at all. In case you have noticed engine noise and exhaust noise sound completely different. Id like to be able to hear my exhaust in the cab not have to be outside the truck to hear it. I was looking for opinions but i guess i just got smart ass remarks.
If you want exhaust noise in the cab, run a short stack. Just don't plan on opening the rear sliding window.
If you just want loud and annoying exhaust: 3.5" downpipe, 4" straight pipe, 4"-6" tip dumping out the side in front of the rear tire. My truck could be heard literally a mile away with that setup. You will get tired of cleaning the back tire. You will get tired of the noise in the cab.
So let me get this straight... You want to have it quiet in the cab so as not to disturb you and your boyfriends date night...... But you want it loud as f@@k outside to annoy everyone else.... Hmmm
No matter how loud the exhaust, the injector solenoid noise is way noisier and that is what you'll hear in the cab. If you want good exhaust sound roll the passenger side window when you are running along buildings or going under an overpass.
You sure it's not your ego making the noise?

I was going to say stick your ear in the pipe.!
Put a.stack on it. Those are loud.
I beg to differ. Drive a reg cab with 2, 5" stacks straight piped. All I hear is exhaust.
OP. It gets old. Love it on race day. But at 530 am on the way to work I want to beat my head on the dash. Conversations with the wife(boyfriend in your case a pointed out) not possible. Stereo has to be above half volume or it just sounds like muffled noise.
Stacks are the loudest you can get. If you won't do stacks you obviously don't want it as loud as it can be

I could still hear the injectors with my 6" stacks, but it depended on the rpm's. At certain speeds all you can here is drone.
