Might of found a set of good heads. Is it bad to install heads from another block to avoiding wait time on a machinist?

Wont hurt anything as long as they are machined properly. No different then buying a new set of heads to replace a set that are cracked.

Depends on how good the good is. If theyve been milled true and pressure checked them use them otherwise you're likely going to do the job again within a few months.

Here the machine shop turns the heads over in 1-2 days tops.

If you can guarantee they're true and not cracked then yes otherwise no

If i can get em at a good price, i will have em milled ahead of time. Whats a good price on a used "good" set?

I've got a set I'm asking 700 for...but ive seen unknown used heads go for 5-800 a pair. Milled and checked 1000-1800

Hey all, im doing some injector research, and came accross holderdown's injectors. They are at a good price, would save me quite a bit over ordering from warren. What have you fellas heard about holderdown's injectors? Search isnt helping much.

So far, i am looking at about $6900 for turbo, supporting mods and injectors. Pff. Adding up quick. Im wondering if im up to it now. Lol.

Lol, just checked rcd... Prices arent exactly what i remember. Lol.

Been considering elites's DIY injector kits. How hard is it to rebuild the injectors at home?

Really?! I haven't looked in quite awhile but guessing they bumped prices as their products have gotten much better. I remember hearing guys having a lot of issues a while back. Other than a shipping mix up, I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Jared is the man!

RCD seems to be the cheapest if you send your injectors in. They modify your injectors not someone's core. If you look under customer injector modification on RCD's injector page.

I know that rcd that has issues in the past...everybody in this industry has been on a learning curve. I've talked to Jared and he is on the up and up. He'll take of you. I've received nothing but top quality products and service from RCD.
