First thing that comes to mind is the BCM or maybe a bad ground.

Electrical gremlins can be a nightmare. Hopefully it is something simple.

So you paid 70k for an XL or XLT? I'd be more upset about that than I would a warranty issue ford is going to have to figure out.

After tax and interest yes the xlt is 70k, especially since it is a 4x4 diesel, not to mention the POS I traded in

I dropped it off Tuesday morning, they said they wouldn't be able to get it in for at least a day, but they hooked me up with a 2017 F150 Lariat to drive until they can figure out and fix what went wrong. I showed them the video of what it was doing and they were all baffled

yeah, Id be curious if disconnecting the batts would reset it. I had my dodge journey company car do something very similar... disconnect batts, reboot and it never came back.

Disconnecting the batteries did reset it, that's why I showed them the video.

And my dealer is Lexington Park Ford
