I think they went to far

Well after I color matched my headlight I thought they might look better tinted or smoked. I told the body shop to light would be better then too dark. I picked the truck up yesterday and found this.
What do you guys think?

I agree. I'll take them back on Monday. As for the ticket issue I don't think it will be a problem. There really is no law against tinting your headlights. The regulation states that your low beams have to illuminate around 100 feet ahead of you and the high beams are around 350 feet. As my lights sit right now they still do that. At night you really can't tell the tint is there.
