Pumps great. II would call them 100hp sticks Everyone rates different its dumb. I dont think Ive heard of any recent Pump failures, they started doing somethings a little different on the inside.

Yeah, thats what I'm getting at... in order to keep cost down I'd wager to guess that they just machine the housing, fit the wheel and put it together. There's just no other way I can see. If that's true, I don't know how comfortable I personally would be about it.... Hopefully some definitive answers can be had

Yeah, I am not sure. I am gonna have the guys at Rudy's rebuild it before I instal it, just to insure longevity. But there are tons of guys using these turbos, and making power, and going the distance, so, i am gonna put it on the 450, with stock fuel, and expect it to last a long damn time! I'll def keep all posted...

I wonder if a lot of it has to do with who tuned the truck.....What tunes do you run Erikclaw???

When it was installed I ran Eric's tunes, the last month or so since it got running again it has been tuned by KEM. Eric's exrace is pretty sensitive to throttle input compared to KEM but not sure if it matters much with respect to durability of the pump.

I believe the Swamp's setup uses cast wheels and the turbo's are not new. I think they are refurbished turbo's.

Pump 1 had rust in it. It was prolly my fault the truck sat for a year I should have drained the tank and that was before I got my airdog. Its the same parts just a different employee doing it. If any pump should fail it should be this one. Its modded a little more then where they feel the reliable point is.
