Tried the exrace with race lock. Same problem as extreme street.

1) On both tunes, The 50-55mph FRP rapid surge at light throttle.

2) On both tunes, between 1850-2000rpm It acts as if I am hitting a rev limiter. No matter what gear, when it gets to that spot, it acts like bouncing off of a rev limiter. Anytime before or after that spot, it runs fine.

3) Extreme street only, at around 65mph, I eased into the throttle probably 3/4 throttle or more a few times last night. Every time, it would pull like crazy for 15mph and then it felt as if I released the peddle 1/8th or so like I was taking my foot from 3/4 throttle to 5/8 throttle and holding it there for the rest of the time.

I've emailed Eric about the problems I am having and hope to have something figured out. I'm running the street tune now, Just loaded it up and drove it down the road. Havent noticed any of these things with my street tune but I have less than 3 miles on it. Ill report back on it later tonight.

These are the exact same symptoms I've experienced. With either pre-loaded or e-mailed tunes. I monitored mass fuel desired and it drops nearly in half at that 1900 RPM hessitation. I loaded XtremeX and have none of those issues. He told me it was because he drastically reduced the rail pressure at light throttle.

Well we gonna have to do something because my street even does the same hesitation. It does n't do the frp surge like the other two so it is half way drivable. But the other two aren't drivable. I'll probably try the extreme x tomorrow or go back to Gearhead until this is fixed. I know my egts are allot better on idp tunes though

I had the same problem with the street tune. The only tunes I could run from the preloaded section were stock and tow. I like the XtremeX but the mileage isn't as good and it's a big tune and I'm not studded yet. Super frustrating.

Well my extreme X is in the preloaded. Apperently the extreme Mild is gone unless I over looked it. Hopefully it wont have the same problems, kinda doubtful after the rhythm I have going right now

Keep us updated on this issue. Will wait to get the update till these issues are addressed. It may be a truck ot tune issue, but I would like to find out. My truck has been running great. Just made a 110 mile trip, and the fuel needle barely moved off of full. Running Xrace, and Raceloc.

I"m guessing there has been some changes. W/ factory tires I was only getting 15 on the 3.01 tunes, tried the Xt-x and even though it is great for both winter driving and daily driving the mileage isn't what it was before.

When I had the tunes from Dec 2010, I could manage 18 mpg on the Xt-street.

After trading some emails w/ him I'm guessing as it was mentioned here, the FRP and PW. Not sure what the real issue is though. I do like the drivability at the moment but I don't want to fork over another couple hundo on GH or someone elses tunes just to try out and find out the mileage is the same.

Eric sent me an email today letting me know that he was Hong to load up my trucks strategy and stuff on the shop truck and let me know what he finds out. I want expecting him to use a Sunday to find a problem for me. Hopefully I'll know something the next day or two.

He did tell me that he has many customers running these tunes with no problem

The tune I'm mainly interested in is the Xtreme X, and since I hate seeing the wrench light on my dash, I'll continue to run my other brand tunes until the wrench light is fixed.

exactly, mine says the same thing!
I was on the H&S forums and some are claiming 3-4mpg increase by hand. One guy claimed 23mpg by hand w/ his custom MCC tune.
FWIW, he mentioned that pedal feel is touchy but mileage is great and has shifting like GH. I'll take a touchy pedal if it gets me 23mpg.

I'm moving out of state and @ my new place I literally pull outta the drive way and it's a straight 25 miles to work @ 55mph. W/ my current tunes, I'm gonna hate it. Xt-X locks right about 55mph so if traffic is slow I'll be in 5th or 4OD. Even using the pre-loaded tunes mileage is still 15ish.
My mileage will S$ck donkey b@lls.

If I can't mileage up to the 18 where it was w/ the 2010 tunes before I'm gonna sell. If Dmaxs and the 6.7 can get close to 20 then why can't the 6.4. Some say mileage doesn't matter but for the total miles I'll be driving, it would be a $300/month difference in fuel cost. I have better ways to spend $300.
Sorry for the rant.

I agree 100% I commute 80 miles round trip daily. When my truck was stock my best hand calculated was 18.7 with the new tune I don't think I could ever get there. I was getting high 18's with xstreet but didn't run right. Now truck runs good and I'm in the low 16's. = $$$$$

All he ever had happen was the frp surge at 50-55mph at light throttle on the extreme street and race. He didnt have the other effects that I am having happening with the rev limiter type deal at 1900-2000rpm. He and Shane are working on fixing it AFAIK.

Wayne is having a wrench light on his extreme x, where my extreme x is the only one that runs flawlessly. The only thing about extreme x is the fuel mileage is down compared to other tunes. 13mpg isnt very pocket friendly.

In the summer. My truck is a stick. 55 mph. 45 miles round trip 98% hiway. It was painful but I did it for one tank to see what it would do.
