Its hard to compare as I was away from idp tunes and running a Gearhead for 5 months until I got my livewire back. I do have to say I like the IDP tunes better. The egt's were definitely down at wot compared to the Gearhead if I can only get my part throttle stuff fixed. I was hoping there would be a couple more people running then by now that could tel me what strategy they are running

I got this email from Eric a while back:

It's almost ready, I'm waiting to release it until I test the new flashes Ford just released. They are on a roll and releasing new flashes to fix issues with mileage and low power.

I emailed him again to discuss some matters. He advised the newest updates are available.
I"m back to using the Xt-Street and I did a short trip and it appears my mileage might be up 18+ again. It was late on the way in so I just pushed on to get home but I won't be filling up again until I drive the truck in 2 weeks. It will stay parked until then but using the Xt-st will be my DD if it means better mileage. I have achieved 24mpg doing 55 AND my next set of commutes will be 45-55mph w/only 1 stop light over a 25ish mile stretch.

I'll be sending mine out on next week for the 3.03 flash as there is something W/ SCT that mine tuner needs.

Well the 3.02 was supposed to be available via email but mine was up there at IDP when I got the update so I'm not sure

That's what I was thinking. But I might just send it in tomorrow or the next day bc my truck is down anyways. Hopefully ill get it back by the end of next week.

to get the pre programmed files, you need to send it in.

Eric,

You'll have to send it in. The whole update requires me to swap the memory card.

Well, I'm going down today to innovatives shop to get the new update. Ill let you guys know how the new tunes are after I get some miles on them.

The emailed tunes he sent me for the time being until we get my truck worked out are running good. No problems. He said what my truck is doing he had seen do only on about 10 percent of the trucks. I don't think you guys should hesitate to update.

That's what he told me too. The only tune that ran well for me was XtremeX which is awesome!

Great to hear. Eric is usually pretty good about working w/ his customers as he's been going back and forth w/ me on a few concerns I had. He seems pretty sure he can do the custom work I want so that is really great IMHO that he will continue to work w/ the older 6.4 tunes even though I know he's busy w/ other projects as well.
