My truck is running a custom Xtreme X 2.0 PW tune. Not super smokey until I really hammer on it, but it clears up quickly. There's also very little haze at idle.

i havent seen a tune yet that doesnt have a haze at idle, i thinks its just the 6.4 nature

Why did this become a pissing match of Gearhead vs IDP?

Both make great tunes and both are respectable guys.

All it took was one guy saying that Gearhead makes more power than IDP. Which has been proven. It has also been proven that IDP makes more power than Gearhead. How? Because all trucks are different and react differently. I have seen problems with Matt's tunes on peoples trucks and I have seen problems with IDP tunes on peoples trucks. That isn't their intention but sometimes it just falls that way, no reason to jump ship and shoot them down.

I run tunes from both companys and I have had some minor problems with tunes from both. They were both great help and provided excellent customer service and solved my issues

Xtreme X for my 1/4. Marty ran it for me when it was down at Erics getting the bugs worked out of it from me frying my PCM.

Mine doesn't haze at idle either running extreme x. So far I'm getting 13 mpg with that tune, but that is all stop and go with no highway miles.
