Is A1000 necessary for 190/100s?

haha, I like vgt, but I would kind of like to be more towards the 600 mark than the 500. From what I gather, 190/100s and a powermax will get me about 525. I really dont want to step up to the 68 pmax because of the 1000 dollar price jump...to be honest, I would rather go with a vgt, i just dont really know of many other vgt's that will give me a little more than a pmax.

I think the best RR out there is from Strictly Diesel.... Dennis builds an awesome kit. You don't need an A1000 or fuelab to feed 190/100's. You can just get a low pressure pump system...airdog150 or FASS piggy backing the stock pump.

A MTW stage 3 and 190/100's will give you about 650hp.

that would be awesome...but them i know i would have to pull the trans and build that :( Im liking their pmax turbo though...i just wish i had a money tree. that would solve a lot of my problems.

I made 585 on a 64mm cheetah from Fleece performance. It was really streetable too, but I was running 225/100s too

a 05 with 195/100's a Pmax, RR and AD165 did 590 this weekend. i did 523 with 195/75 on stock fuel system and a 15000 mile old filter. 600 is achievable with a pmax and good fueling.

A powermax will never make 600. It just doesn't flow enough to make it....let alone 590. Sorry but I don't believe the 590 for one second....it'll never happen with a powermax

I only go by what the dyno said. I don't have track times for his set up. I know I ran a 13.7 @97 and pulled 523 on a mustang dyno. So they line up.

Actually its not even close to lining up. Your truck being a crew cab long box is gonna weigh around 8000lbs. So going off the weight and the 97mph....puts it at 495hp. Going off the 13.7 puts it at 510hp. This all estimating the truck weighs 8000lbs. You go off the mph calculation not the time....the mph is more accurate. Unless your truck weighs more than I think

Well then at that weight puts it at 517 with the mph and 532 with the time. So you're right....its right there with the dyno

wow, thanks for the info...just got kinda sad though haha. He had good prices but i guess i could never get my stuff...what company would you guys recommend? he said 1400 for 190/100s, 1100 for pmax, 340 for A1000, and 450 for RR. it would be great if someone could beat those prices...!

The 190s you would actually get would have stock nozzles...not oversized. You may or may not get the a1000...jjjay dropships them....the rr is all cheesy rubber pushloc hose with no paperwork...and a few fittings missing.





well this kinda puts a kink in my plans. anything to say about holderdownperformance? i talked to them a while ago when i had started to think about doing this, seemed good, but then again i couldnt find anything wrong with DD! im relatively new to this stuff and dont know who to trust to tell me everything and who will lie to me, that is where you guys come in! I'm working on. Building my own pump set up and getting a RR. I'm using a sump and an a-1000. I'm only running 175s but I figure better safe than sorry.
