I got ya. Yes the 4094va (dmax stage 2) is straight from the Garrett engineers but Adrian modifies it so it can be a drop in turbo for the powerstroke and this modified version (so far anyways) is only available through him that I know of.

They make enough on pmaxes to even bother, and there isn't a demand for a 700 hp 6.0 turbo. Maybe on this site, but not worth producing for garrett I.mo. Of course..

Adrian does much much more to make it work than slap it all together, several machining processes and were also vying to use the dmax center section with water cooling capability to keep things nice and cool as well. A custom oil drain will be included.

Gotcha, we talked around the shop about maybe trying one to see how they work. I like the idea though and I hope more comes of it.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm tired of the damn whistle from this pmax. I think when the time comes I'll sell the pmax and swap for a stocker and then have him mod the stocker. It was cool at first and still has its moments but I'm over it.

and that is why I'll be putting compounds on around july-august

Don't know why y'all think this won't have a whistle. Every modded Vgt I have ran has had that horrendous whistle...

That's probably because they all had 10 blade turbine wheels. Adrian's turbos all have 13 blade turbine wheels and have like zero exhaust whistle. Now the Stage 3 has 10 blades and it whistled pretty loud IIRC what Adrian was telling me when he installed it on his truck.

Ive gotten reports of a big block non vgt sounding idle from the MTW Stage 3.

Hmmm...Well I guess all we can do is wait and see. I had heard that there was a whistle with the Stage 3 but that it was MUCH deeper, aggressive, and BAD A$$ sounding than what Adrian had heard from an 03 turbo.
