Agreed but a naturally laggy turbo would help wouldn't it?

The lack of RPM's on the street aren't going to get enough air flowing, and the engine is going to run hot. Exasperating the issue especially in those front 2 cylinders, where the air flow is the worst.

What number hole did that rod come out of OP?

Mine threw number 3

Well technically it didn't "throw" it but mine pulled appart right below the wrist pin then had a field day after that

Mine bent 1,2,3 cryo'd and shot peened rods. Tunes from someone not mentioned yet (no Joe, it wasn't your friends).

I picked up a 2000 long block today, I've got a couple questions.

Will my hpop work on the 2000 timing cover?

Are there any other differences related to the timing cover? (Water pumps?)

Yes hpop will bolt up, and front cover will be the same. Not positive on water pumps, I want to say they're different
