They're going on my truck. Bought a 5" c-notch for the back today plus front and rear Helwig sway bars. I cleaned the beams and radius arms up today and sprayed everything like the frame will be....semi-gloss black. I can't stand that hammertone finish DJM uses. I have Energy Suspension bushings for the radius amrs, the beams come with them. With urethane bushings in the rear shackles and solid aluminum bushings in the front spring eye plus those sway bars....she should handle pretty damn good.
Anyway....here's what 75 bucks will get ya in a southeast Texas junk yard. :D

It has drop springs on it now. With the plan for the truck being much shorter than it is now I wanna kill any and all bottoming out. The front beams now ride the bump stops but actually rides surprisingly well...the rear is very close though and bottoms out easily....the 5" notch should fix that.

That's awesome, ate you sure they're SD beams? Not f150 beams?

Considering they had to take the SD brakes off the ends before I got them and they were laying in front of the SD they came out from under.....I sure hope they're right. LOL

Cut stockers right now. Had a set from Reds Miami that were waaayyyy too soft....probably had a 4+" drop. It wouldn't even think about aligning right. Looked like a laid out bagged truck. The cut stockers actually ride great...I was surprised.

If I could remember I'd tell ya...but I honestly have no idea. I'll look at it tomorrow night and count the coils.

Rich has the luck a buddy of mine has. We were in a yard looking for a Ford 9 inch third member and while we were walking around there sits one all ready taken out waiting on him to take it.
