Is this tune advertised for 345 total RWHP? Because that's about how powerful it feels, couldn't even keep up with a 6.0 tonight. I've been a little raw about buying a tune advertised as a 345+ HP tune that drives more like Spartan's old 250 but this was the final straw. My livewire will be heading to innovative next week, I was trying to hold out until my build and have it dyno tuned, but I guess i'll have to have him tune it twice.

Would love to hear some other people's thoughts on the tune.

Havent heard many complaints about the KEM stuff.

But I agree, give Matt a shout. I haven desire to run other tunes at this point, even for free. I havent found an issue with Matts

I'm debating on updating my dashdaq to get the new spartan tunes. It's free but I'd lose my KEM tunes
I feel like 345 isn't as strong, but good daily driver

When/if you get Eric's tunes and then need them updated it is free. So don't let that hold you back. I am going to try Gearhead's tunes soon, talking with Mike H his tunes are starting to do what we have been looking for. Low pw when cruising and @ low boost but ramps them up when boost climbs. Much lower smoke around town and fuel when it demands it. Sounds promising to me.

Thats one of the reasons I went with IDP but when they came out with their last update they said it would be $100.00.

I like my 345 tune it's went 13.24@103 with a 2.0 60ft but I can also dd and tow on this tune. It might not be the most aggressive but it runs good. My 310 tune went 13.66 at 99. Just for reference.

rather than publicly blasting mike about his tune you should call mike 407-319-2026 he will be more than happy to take care of you. if your truck got out ran by a 6.0 you OBVIOUSLY have a problem somewere.

I really like my Gearhead tune, it does exactly what you've heard.

I talked to Mike once before and he said there was nothing he could do for me. I think what I'm really pissed about is the flase advertisement. If it's a daily driver tune don't list it as your highest HP rated race tune. Just annoys me

and it looked to be a farm truck, still had the stock exhaust on it. probably just had a tuner and intake.

Sorry if this is considered publicly blasting Mike and his tune, but I was pissed off and wanted to share my opinions on the tune.

Anyone else with the tune does is throw your trans in limp mode (seems like 1st gear only) when it does the rev slam because it does with mine. Fine once I restart the truck

yea maybe I'll go take it for a spin and monitor a few things.

And I want to clarify that when I said Mike said he couldn't do anything for me, that was about the power issue. He didn't fix some shift points for me when I first bought the tune. Very pleasant to work with

Well, I chose not to use the custom stuff from KEM. I didn't feel that it worked well with my setup. I did not try the 310 tune, and everyone says that the 310 tune pulls harder, and fuels alot more.

I only made 34-35 pounds of boost with the Tow Xs and stock fuel, and made 590 hp on the KEM 345 tune on my H&S MINIMAXX. But on the same dyno, same night, made 678 at 49 pounds on the HOT DAMN tune on my H&S MINIMAXX. And 667 at 48 pounds, same dyno, same night with IDP on the SCT.

Then, Aaron and I drove the KEM 345 down I-85 for about 5 miles..... I was not happy at all... then we stopped, and changed back to the HOT DAMN file... FAST AS HELL..... seat of the pants was instantly noticeable.

Now, I believe as a daily driver, the 345 tune would have been pretty damn awesome. CLEAN tune. a little puff on the dyno, and cleaned right up. Almost looked like a gasser truck was on the rollers.... And it was powerful. Just didn't do what the others could do.

If I get the chance later on, I would not mind putting the KEM 310 tune on, and giving her a shot.

That being said, I will be using IDP on my 250. The power, and responsiveness, and trans tuning..... Yeah, I have found my tuner. Period...
