When the thing is already 13'6" tall, yes! That would put it over the legal limit without a permit. What kind of trimming are we talking? I found several 285 55 r22.5s. Kinda pricey though.

Damn that thing is tall.

You want a 255/70 if your considering running a 10 lug 22.5. Yes the complete setup is pricy but they'll last 100k miles, and by the time you spend $1500 for a good set of tires and only last 25-40k miles they don't seam do expensive.
