hey guys just wanted to let everyone know there will be a 3.0 class at the event. The purse for that class will be 5000.00 and we will be paying back 5 spots. in order to pull in this class you MUST have a legit 3.0 truck.

Is this too keep the class number down? Or to keep a 2.6 guy from the Midwest from destroying some 3.0 guys from the east? Haha

actually jeremy all the 3.0 trucks that are coming are from the midwest. and if tyler and those guys wanna pull in the 3.0 class then they are more than welcome. we just dont want every one in that class for the money

Thanks, Going to try to make it from Illinois with a 7.3. Didnt make it last year because of the chance of bad weather. Know pay-outs for drags?

So, do you need an upward facing exhaust for pulling>???
From reading it looks like driveshaft loops are required in every class. Any way around that or do I need to come up with something this week>???
Nitrous is only allowed in the OPEN class, correct>???
Also, what are the rules on hitch height>???

I'm going to try and come down from CT with my POS and up here the rules are close to non-existent aside from max hitch height of 26 inches.

Thanks for the help! I am a pulling newbie in just about every aspect.

Workstock does not require upward exhaust or driveshaft loops & they will be going by a "stock appearing" turbo rule. Hot street & above will require upward exhaust & u-joint shields. Yes any kind of spray is reserved for the open class only. All diesel truck classes will have a max hitch height of 26".

Are u-joint shields only required on the visible joints(at the diffs)>??? I would ASSume that is what is wanted but want to make sure. Coming down to the wire here for me.

Thanks, Mat

Yea all visible joints which is pretty much just 1 at each diff. 1/4 steel or 3/8 aluminum, 6" wide centered on the joint & you're good to go.
