No... I need an 8 cylinder camshaft for a P7100.

I saw your thread on CompD - what was the consensus on using P7100 upgrade parts on those Ebay pumps? I see they aren't flange mounts - it also looks like the holders are a bit smaller based on pictures - but that could be me.

Is the fact that you spun 4500 with no load on the engine really a valid testiment to the platforms capability to turn high rpms in stock form?

I guess the point is that they can turn 4500 RPM in stock form without any problems (Without A Load). I posted this video here because so people might want to see or hear a 7.3 turn 4500 RPM. I posted it for the fun of it. that's all LOL If I had a load on the truck say my 460 and trailer it probably would have snapped a drive shaft or blown up something LOL.

I've read some of his posts, and seen videos he's posted. the conclusion I have come to is that he's really ***en hard on stuff.

Yes i'm hard on stuff I'm seen and done things I never thought possible on a powerstroke LOL.

If you haven't had problems yet, you will. Id say your lucky as hell.. I dont know of any STOCK 7.3s that can go much above 3600rpm without something ***in up.

Mine always bent a pushrod at 4500 unless I ran thin oil.

IDK but the the truck has no knocking and/or unusual noises and no blowby not even smoke out of the oil fill 309,000 miles all original (motor wise) except for the injectors HPOP UVCH's Turbo fuel pump IDM. internally all original

Ford was amazed when they pulled the VC's and they said WTH. They said the engine internally looks like a 100,000 mile engine. its a build DEC 11 1998

Engine Build 0905180

is on its second trans replaced and installed on 1/11/11

160/100's injectors and UVCH and VC gaskets Swamps IDM installed at 305,767 8/24/13

GTP38R and T500 installed at 304,000 7/24/13

Walbro installed 10/03/13

Runs Valvoline Premium Blue 15W40 or Mobil Delvac 15W40 ford oil and fuel filter changed every 6000 miles

Turns 3600 RPM daily on swamps 200 % nozzle drag tune on the Hydra

What would a swamps tune written for a "200% nozzle" do on a truck with 160/100s? That injector is probably out of fuel on a tune written for it

just throwing out numbers here, but if the tune calls for say 2ms pw (from what I understand 2ms is the time the injector stays open to fuel ) and in that pw it fuels 10 cc of fuel through the 200% nozzle.. I would guess that running a nozzle half the size would only fuel 5cc of fuel ?

It just depends on the type of tune, most likely it'd run a bit doggy as it would most likely have PW and ICP pulled back to keep the 200%'s in check. I'm currently running tunes for 175/100's on my truck with 250/200's. Runs pretty good.

You know what I don't even know all I know is it runs way better that the 100% nozzle tune(S) Dave gave me before it also idles really good also more power. You gotta ask Dave that hes the mastermind behind my tuning.

Oh,ok. Doesnt really make sense to me. You can ask for the same pw in a tune. Regardless of what injector the idm is being asked to fire. How do you know its actually a tune written for a hybrid injector?

I still dont see how you ever hit 4600rpm...

Id like to see your pistons... I would think they are beat to chit.

The tune the truck was on was this tune at the time.

"the 3XtremeCJY tune should fuel hard until 4300, and taper off at 4500"

4500 not 4600 and that was to WOT at the middle and ending of the video.
