A view of our Mechanical 7.3 from the exhaust at the dyno! Our day got cut short by some carnage at the damper (pics later) but overall we're pleased with the results so far. We started conservative at every adjustment, not knowing what the engine wanted or where it wanted timing, fuel, water, etc. We ended the day yesterday with 1,319HP, went back this morning looking for more, and found all the bolts in the damper/pulley system sheared off at the hub that bolts to the crankshaft. Needless to say, we weren't happy with that, but overall happy that the engine is running strong and we know we have a solid baseline. More dyno time scheduled after we fix the damper issue! HUGE thanks to Drew Pumphrey and the entire crew at D&J Precision Machine for all the hard work that they put into helping us get this engine going. Also thanks to everyone else involved! It has been a long journey, we have some adjustments to make, but we're very confident in the setup!
