just recently my truck had the ficm fail so i bought a bulletproof 58v one i have an edge tuner and i kept getting trouble code cylinder 3 contribution/balance fault so i swaped it with a ford reman ran great for a couple days then started to misfire again edge said it was cylinder 3 again so i checked the ficm harness turns out it came unplugged i inspected the plug and noticed its broken so as a temporary thing i just used chicken wire and wrapped it around the plug and ficm to hold it in tight. Again truck ran fine for a couple days now i have contribution fault in cylinder 8 only when the truck is hot tho im wondering if its the harness plug or if its the injector. If it is the harness has anyone else changed the ficm harness its the middle plug if that makes a difference
