That sounds a little bit better. There is a lot to taken in on here and a bunch of good/knowledgeable guys that will go out of their way to assist you in any way possible. Slow down a little and relax, if you can't figure out what is wrong with the truck then bite the bullet and take it to a reputable shop that will take care of you and not jerk you around.

THIS!!!

You must know your limitations...

I just want to welcome you to the site LOL remember what you're asking for here is free, friendly advice. Accept it as such. You have a pretty technical problem you are asking to be diagnosed through the internet. My suggestion is before you go much further to ask around for a good dealership. The diesel specialists get really good training. I tink of myself as a pretty savvy tech, but I just started at a dealership working with a power stroke guy who's worked of EVERY ford diesel platform while still under warranty. Does this guy care about diesel performance or this site? No. But I know if I personally couldn't diagnose it quickly and accurately, he can. 26 years as a dealership specialist with every related certification will do that. Know your limits. When you've hit your limit, research the best place to take it, and move on. It could be something inexpensive and retarded you overlooked back at what should've been step 3. Then you can stop chasing ghosts.

An idea I have is to see if combustion gas is getting into the fuel system. Remove the secondary fuel filter and make sure the canister is full of fuel. Either unplug the FICM or use the starter jumper wire on passenger side of engine bay (with key off) to crank engine. Watch inside the fuel bowl as you crank to see if any bubble appear.

If not then everything is okay. If you get bubbles then I would bet the copper washer on #4 cylinder is missing or the injector didn't get torqued correctly.
