I've been on the forums for quite some time just never posted much, but I guess now is the time to introduce my build that is in its final stages.

Back in September I thought I had blown head gaskets so I got some fresh heads, studs, and injectors to throw in while it was all apart. Turns out it wasn't the gaskets, I actually had a crack in the cylinder wall of #3

After talking to Johnathan at No Limit Tuning and Design about all the new stuff he was coming out with and discussing options on the motor we ended up with the build list below.

Johnathan(BDP Tuner) and the guys at No Limit Tuning and Design have been awesome with letting my be involved with the build and I enjoy testing new products for them.

*****also I was told Johnathan has been in touch with garrett about his new shop becoming a site sponsor so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules by posting his stuff

The build list includes:
-Fresh motor with peened forged rods
-Custom modified pistons by NLTD
-Modified Oil pickup
-Fresh heads with ARP's and Comp springs
-Rosewood 238/100's
-T500 HPOP
-NLTD S468 Turbo Kit with stainless uppies and intercooler piping and 3in anodized intake manifolds
-NLTD Regulated return fuel system with a walbro pump
-NLTD Fuel Sump
-BTS Transmission
-Johnathan's Custom tunes on my TS Chip. Hopefully controlled by the new dashdaq instead of a switch soon

We're braking the new motor in right now and working out all the bugs. In the next couple of weeks we'll put it on the dyno and tune it. Shooting for 580-600 with the 238/100's. I know that's a lot for those injectors but an excursion was at the shop a couple weeks ago with same injectors and a 38r and made 570 iirc, so with a bigger turbo and a few more mods I'm confident we will get really close to our goal. Eventually we might put a little spray to it and see what happens

Now for some pics...

Did the piston bowl work change compression? Looks like nice work!

I'm sure the bowl work had some effect but we also took .020 off the top. Between the two the compression is lower but I'm not sure by how much

Nice clean looking build. You maaaay want to add more oil volume. It would get you closer to your goal plus make the truck much more fun to drive. You're going to need every bit of support you can get to push that injector to 600hp.

We'll be monitoring icp with the DashDaq and upgrade if necessary.

Appreciate all the positive comments from everyone

100% nozzle is because I had the injectors before I planned on this build. would prefer 200% and may swap later on but for now we're going to see how far we can push the 238/100 combo

why the 100% nozzle? Looks good! Is that a irate turbo mount?

Looks identical to my Irate kit.

The intake manifolds are nice!

So if you're gonna get to 600 hp with those injectors, what will 350cc/200% injectors get you to?

Where did you get the bracket for the fuel pressure regulator? Did you get a kit or did you build your own system?

I'm just basing my goals off of what I've seen with the same tuner, same size injectors, and a smaller turbo. I'll be sure to post videos and dyno sheets after he gets done tuning it.

Where did you get the bracket for the fuel pressure regulator? Did you get a kit or did you build your own system?

The regulator bracket it part of NLTD's new RR fuel system. The kit
I have is the complete fuel system starting with a sump to filter/pump set up then up to the engine. After that it uses the fuelab regulator and the bracket in the picture and the return ties in with the factory return line on the frame rail for a really clean looking fuel system and minimal lines running around the engine compartment

I'd just go ahead and have someone throw a set of 200% nozzles on those injectors. I have a really hard time seeing you getting to 600hp with 100% nozzles, and if you do its going to run extremely hot. Just me .02 though. What is the engine coated with? Looks almost like bedliner...... (looking at the pics of the valley...)

I really would have liked to change injectors before but it was just not in the budget as this whole build came about kind of suddenly and has me tapped out on play money for a while. We're all interested to see just how far the 238/100's can be pushed. Eventually they will be swapped out for some 200% nozzles or possibly different injectors all together.

The engine is painted with regular ol VHT semi gloss. The texture is just the casting of the block.
