Seems like you polished a turd. You didn't really remove the restrictions just slightly reduced the size and weakened the manifold.

how do you figure, i took out 14 3/4 post in the manifold, then dremaled the inside of it. if you look at dougs original design he didnt mill the bottom of it and still picked up 100+ cfm more air to the rear cyclinders, is it as pretty as dougs NO will it flow more air Absolutly, when its istalled on your truck you cant see it so who cares what it looks like
id say for what i have into mine vs $1200 for dougs il put my $1200 else where now

That's not true. As I said, I think there is merit to your idea but there is more to it than what you've done.

I read that again and it kinda comes off like I'm being a dick but that's not my intention. Just pointing out that you have eliminated some restriction, yes, BUT there is still a lot of room for improvement in there that you get when you pay people to build them. It's Definetly not as simple as cut, grind, weld, like people would think. I know lol. I do sincerely hope it works for you though.

I think it's still a nice improvement for someone wanting to work on things themselves or save some cash or both. It's just not gonna squeez every last bit of potential flow from it, that's where people will pay to have the best.

not only did i drill out the posts, i also cut the wing on the passenger side port where the egr is, i beleive that is a restricting part to our manifold, also i have a 6" long dremel bit that i used to radius the ports out some what
