The more I drove this last night te more I like this setup. It honestly spools faster than stock and Egt are way down. I think the lower Egt are also from the fact it runs lower boost just driving down the road. All in all this is a great setup from what I see so far.

I think you got me sold on this set up. I'm gonna pull the trigger on mine soon. Idk when I'll be able to get them put on. I work in the oil field and we don't get a whole lot of days off. I like the fact we can run them on stock fuel and close to no mods. Gives me room to move up and do things as I get time.

Unlimited had a set
Yes major is an understement.

Definitely do the No Limits CAI when the funds are available. I got mine a few weeks ago and it is super clean looking. I started to install it today, but found I didn't have the stupid tool Ford requires to remove the MAP sensor so gotta go pick one up tomorrow.

I figure while I have the sensor off, I might as well clean it. What do you all use to clean the sensor?

Just contact cleaner. Harbor freight sells a cheap anti tamper kit , I forget the size but I'll see if I can find the bits in bulk and start shipping my kits with them. I know I don't even own one lol. Thanks for the kind words , hope you enjoy it!!!

Pretty sure it's a T-20 tamper proof. I've thrown away a couple dozen of those over the years because most intake kits include them. Even if you get the bits from Snap-On, they're only like $2 a piece.

I got lucky and managed to find a set at Advanced Auto. I know it was real high quality because it was a 75 piece set (it had various drivers) that cost $10.LOLLOL In any case, it did work...of course, I was real careful using it tighten down the sensor so I didn't kill my new tool.
Now the CAI is installed. It looks great and it definitely is impressive how well everything fits given the limited room where it went in.

Well after driving it for awhile now I've gotta say I love this setup. I've been running my h&s at no power and it performs awsome. For anyone looking its a great setup. On any tune I run it cleans up all smoke an have yet to see Egt over 1650.

Another up date on this setup. I switched tuning from innovative ex race to gearhead mcc tuning. I have to say gearhead mocked it out o the park on the tuning. Also I will have track times next weekend.

Bringin this back up. After over 80 drag stop passes and a lot of sled pulling and generally beating the hell out of the tranny finally let go today. It was a sad 5 min then I remebered I get a built one now. So an elite trans will be coming in a week or so.

that's amazing, how many miles did it have on it as well? Any plans to leave stock fuel once you have a the built trans in, and what broke? my bet would be the input shaft had fatigue from launching almost 8000lbs from a dead stop to 60' in 1.6-1.7 seconds LOL

No stayin stock fuel the trucks a blast how it is. I lost the direct cutches but it would cut 1.64 60' all day wen I was racing it. I put 45000 miles on it with this setup it has 76000 miles total.

that's a shocker that the direct clutches went. what tires were on it and do you have traction bars?
