Why is it a shock? that is typically where these trans fail.
he does have traction bars...

Hey Robbie-update your sig LOL

i figured the input shaft would get fatigued after so much abuse, but i guess not in this case.

I run 20x10 with 33-12.50's. All I can say though is it was a badass transmission putting up with what it did. And yea I have trac bars

being a stock converter it will soak up a pile of the "shock". .

that being said-i have twisted my billet input with a precision converter and red alto clutches. street driving only...

I'm thinking with stock fuel a decent tranny will hold up fine at my power level.

100 % agreed.

i was more responding to RSK because inputs last a lot longer in a stock application than with a good TC and harder clutches.

hit up Morgan @ Midwest Diesel. He just did mine and i would say its close to the favorite mod so far...and that is after chewing thru a "built" trans from someone else. a good converter is half the battle also...

and btw i'm freaking jealous of the times you can pull with your truck!

Thanks it runs really strong for the mods done. I'm anxious to see what it does with a good tranny

I got my elite tranny in and have about 500 miles so far an all I can say is wow. This thing feels like a whole new truck. I'm anxious to see what kind of times it runs now.

they work really well and you can bet if you add more power it will still live.

Thanks this truck feels like a totally diff one. I just wanna see if it will put me any deeper in the 12's now. I wish I could have afforded to get the stage3 for the extra billet but it wasn't in the cards so I hope the rest of the stock shafts live now
